The Go Diego Go theme song, all about Diego’s exciting animal rescue and  jungle experiences, is definitely a bouncy, energetic, happy song that makes you want to dance around the room too no matter how old (or young) you are.  If you really want, you can even download it as a ringtone for your phone, from many different places online.

Diego, Dora the Explorer’s cousin, is totally lovable to many younger kids and to lots of parents too!  His love for animals and the fun he has with them makes Diego a real delight to watch and a good role model for younger children to emulate.

Eight year old Diego, accompanied by his jaguar friend “Baby Jaguar” helps all sorts of animals in danger, especially those who live in the rainforest near his Animal Rescue Center.  During the series we get to meet Dora, his cousin; Diego’s grandfather and Alicia, Diego’s sister.  Alicia plays a major role in the series, a computer whiz she helps with the animal rescue calls that come in and also helps with the animal rescues as well.

Whereas Dora the Explorer puts a lot of emphasis on learning Spanish, in Go Diego Go, the emphasis is more on learning about animals, although there is some Spanish spoken also.
