There are a total of 5 levels to search through on the way to Egg Island. Of course during the course of the rescue there is tons of action, including rock climbing, monkey bars and jumping on a pogo stick to name just a few. It is also full of puzzles and lots of other fun activities. It boasts having over twelve remote actions, including climbing, flapping, pulling and stomping.
Made specifically with the two, three and four year olds in mind, the game’s simple yet intuitive menu is easy enough for most four year olds to navigate by themselves, and while the younger children may need help with the menus and moving onto different sections generally it is simple enough for them to make the plays themselves with very little supervision.
It is not necessarily considered an educational game, but then again what Wii game is, but it does live up to its promise of lots of fun and adventure. There’s minimal teaching about animals, something that is highly featured in the TV show and videos, and the main way it could be considered education is that it of course teaches the child to follow directions, and using the Wii controller is also a good way to teach hand to eye control for the youngsters.
